GroundSounds recently caught up with Tapioca and the Flea and we are happy to premier their new live video for the track “Home”. TATF had the opportunity to play a huge showcase with Frightened Rabbit at the House of Blues in Hollywood for Red Bull Sound Select “Presents Los Angeles”. Here is what they had to say about their recent shows and new live video:
“We decided for this show we wanted to do something a little different and special for our fans so we asked our good friend Sameer from the band Young The Giant to come and sing with us for one song. Luckily he was in town recording YTG’s second debut album which is soon to be released and had some free time that weekend. The show was even sold out! We have started to work with an awesome director named Matthew Szewczyk. We have recently started filming a documentary on our successes as a band and this was the first event to be filmed. Since then he has been filming our every show, including our blown out show at MFG’s School Night at Bardot in Hollywood. Matt decided to make a collage of both shows that month to capture the vibe and feel of our performances at the time. Soon to come will be another mini doc including our experience playing X Games this summer as well as behind the scenes and day in the life footage of each band member”.
So, whats up next for TATF? Well, they are quickly gearing up for CMJ and writing new material constantly. They are also filming a music video for their next single release. Stay tuned and keep updated here.
