The music video for Tame Impala’s new single “Elephant,” off their forthcoming album Lonerism, is loaded with neon colors, trippy, prismatic camera shots, and groovy eye-candy that resemble a near-modern psychedelic incarnation of Iron Butterfly’s 1968 album cover for In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. The track itself is loaded with fuzzy sonic distortions and vocal reverb mixing techniques that serve to transport the listener to a very happy place, indeed.
